Yesterday I said goodbye to my first and best friend here in Tarija, my brother Nicolas. Words cannot express my excitement for him as he begins his incredible year abroad. I know that he will be such an amazing ambassador for Bolivia and a wonderful exchange student. I know I am so thankful for the two weeks he spent teaching me Spanish, showing me Tarija and introducing me to his many friends... All who miss him dearly already. I will say that the most beautiful thing I saw during Nico's departure was the tears that fell from about 80% of his GUY friends eyes. I never had witnessed a boy cry... It was truly a heart wrenching and yet beautiful experience. Wishing you all the best Nico.
